Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is a stunning actress who has made a mark on the screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of a physical therapy career within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and then relocated in Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films and world-wide commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion to perform despite her small role. She moved from New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004's short dramatic The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her next role was on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza got numerous nominations for her character, such for Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award Nominated. In 2008 she received one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring character. She played Marisol Deko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was in NBC's darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the series was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian and has a younger brother Cory. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting career when she was just seven years old. Babysitters would take her along for an audition. Of more than a thousand applicants they were selected to be one of only four. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off-Broadway plays and the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
