In the year 12 she first began appearing on TV initially in commercials for GMA Network. She then began acting. Also, she is a figure skater who is a pro. She began skating at age 4 and competed in different countries like Thailand as well as Malaysia. Ashley started her YouTube channel before leaving her house in Southern California. Her first YouTube video was uploaded together with her partner Nathan Boucaud who is also a YouTuber. In the video, she shares a hilarious story of losing $500 playing an online game Nathan. After that Nathan and Ashley appeared as a couple in the majority of her videos. Following their move to Washington together, they made a number of videos that covered everything from choosing their furniture, to moving. Asha was a Special Agent in the New York Division FBI for several years and was an expert in counterintelligence. She was in charge of assessing security risks to national security, conducting classified investigations into suspect foreign agents and doing undercover work. Asha acquired experience while working with the FBI with interviewing methods and electronic surveillance. Additionally, she was educated about deadly force, firearms as well as other techniques of interrogation. Asha completed her cumlaude at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and was also awarded a Fulbright award to study constitutional reform in Bogota Colombia. The law degree she earned was at Yale Law School, where she served as an Coker Fellow and a law clerk for the Judge Juan R. Torruella of the U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit located in San Juan Puerto Rico. She was admitted into the state Bar New York (2003 as well as Connecticut and Connecticut in the year 2003). Asha has written op-eds for The New York Times The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post among others and is presently a legal editor for ABC News. She sits an editor on the board of Just Security and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
